World Physiotherapy Day
8th September
The theme for this year’s World PT Day is the role of physiotherapy and physical activity in the prevention, management, and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disease and stroke. The IOPTP have been working hard to develop paediatric resources in celebration for World PT Day 2026. The IOPTP have developed four evidence-based fact sheets (target = professionals) and four corresponding posters (designed for children, youth, parents/caregivers and families) related to the theme for this year.
Translation is currently underway in the following languages: Afrikaans, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Danish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Spanish, and Taiwanese. We will post the translations on this page of our website as they are returned to us.
